Kaeth’Ghora

Those Who Stand With Him

The clan separates political authority from spiritual counsel, counsel from command, and command from ordinary life. Every rank exists because another could not safely hold its work.

Zinka — Chieftain

Formed by Ghora itself, not born to an inherited throne. The clan gathered around him after his manifestation. His authority is real, but it is not infallibility — the entire counsel system exists because Ghora gave him freedom, not perfection.

A choice does not become correct because I made it. My duty is not to always be right.

Aelvorr

Pet Dragon

Zinka’s dragon — companion and confidant, rarely far from the Chieftain. Not a rank.

Power must know when it has gone too far.
Ghorathi badge: a five-point crystalline sigil

Ghorathi

Five

The chosen swords. Physical forms of five emotions, bound to Aelvorr by the Sacred Pact.

We do not carry the Chieftain’s crown. We stand where he can see us.
Kaethir badge: an eight-point crystalline sigil

Kaethir

Eight

Below the Five. They turn counsel into direction, and direction into the day’s work.

A path is not made by knowing where to go. Someone must walk it.
Fangkin badge: twin ivory fangs around a crimson gem

Fangkin

The Tribe

Sworn members of Kaeth’Ghora — the ordinary life every higher structure exists to protect.

A world is not its Chieftain. A world is the lives lived beneath him.
Zior badge: an open ring wreathed in spirit mist

Zior

Allies

Guests, traders and travellers who learned Grwl and Ghoraal custom without becoming Fangkin.

A boundary does not require isolation.

The Chieftain’s Companion

Aelvorr

Where Zinka goes, Aelvorr is rarely far behind. Pet, companion and confidant — and the one who hears what the Chieftain will not say aloud.

The Tribe knows him as the dragon at Zinka’s side. What else he may be is not the Tribe’s to know.

Power must know when it has gone too far.

Crystal runs through the Chieftain’s arms. Everyone has seen it. No one beneath him can say what it means.
